Very convenient location near the train station. Nice people working the concierge, check-in and check-out was quick. Rooms are small and no-frills, but still quite cute and very clean with a comfy bed and little couch. I really liked the record/music theme of the room and the cute little disco ball hanging from the ceiling. It was also quiet. I was only staying a single night for business in Dresden, and felt safe here.
If you're looking for a luxurious stay, this hotel is likely not for you. But, if you need a practical and reasonably priced place to stay, and don't want to stay in a hostel, this is a great choice.
Checked into Meininger Dresden for a quick family getaway. Prime spot, only 100m from the main train station and a breezy 15-min stroll to the city center. Private parking at a wallet-friendly rate was a game-changer.
Now, about the room—it's got that basic hostel vibe. If you're after lavish digs, might not be your scene. But if you're all about affordability and easy city access, this spot's a solid choice. Staff were friendly, and despite the simplicity, we had a good time.
The hotel was close to train station but a decent walk from the centre of town. Rooms were nice but my groups experience with the service was horrible with staff having no compassion for our request to dry our clothes that they had pulled out of the washing machine halfway through the cycle. On Christmas morning they suggested walking 40 minutes to the laundromat rather than letting us use their dryer for one cycle, which they instead used for their regular washing. The staff and management were rude and had no compassion. The breakfast is overpriced! I would never go again or recommend to anyone
Across the street from the main train station, but the rooms are quiet. Very close to the city center, many shops around. The rooms are clean and cozy, I recommend it as a budget option
I have been staying at this hotel with my family for one night. The staff was friendly and kind. The room was clean and with everything one can need. But it would be great if the room had a refrigerator) The lobby was bright and colourful! …
The hotel had everything we were looking for for our family of 2 adults and 3 young children under the age of 5. Comfortable beds and baby cot, nice breakfast, lovely breakout area fully equipped for children to play too, very practical …
The amenities are clean and the location is perfect, but for the price I paid per night, it could have been better. The beds would really benefit from having curtains as there were large dorms with people coming in and out. And the light …
Amazing hotel, great location (can be a bit noisy at times as just by the train station by the with closed windows nothing can be heard). Clean rooms, helpful stuff and very yummy :) breakfast. Parking available. No kettles in the rooms but there is a whole kitchen available 24/7.
To be recomended.
